How to judge the oil ingress of a small excavator?
1. Observe the appearance of shovel oil. It is easy to see if the oil contains color. The non-aqueous oil is translucent, and the water-containing oil looks opaque brown or khaki.
2. Check whether the coolant of the small excavator contains oil. When some parts of the engine are damaged, the engine coolant will enter the lubrication system and mix with the oil. The penetrating oil is also contained in the coolant in the tank, which is easy to identify.
3. After the engine oil enters the water, it will chemically react with the coolant in a high temperature environment to form an emulsion. White bubbles appear on the test dipstick.
4. If the oil of a small excavator contains a lot of water, the oil level will rise. At this point, you can easily determine the oil level.
By observing the oil color, oil level and oil coolant to determine whether the oil is in the water, you can determine the oil and water failure of the small excavator. If you encounter engine water, do not start the engine twice. Professional maintenance personnel are required to clean the water in the engine. Next, check the oil radiator, water baffle, cylinder seal, cylinder liner, cylinder gasket, etc. to determine the cause of the oil entering the water.
This is the oil intake problem of small excavators, I hope it will help you.
