The trenching operation methods of the backhoe excavator include trench end excavation, trench side excavation, straight line excavation, curve excavation, certain angle excavation, ultra-deep trench excavation and trench side slope excavation.
1. Groove end mining
The small excavator used starts from one end of the groove and then retracts along the centerline of the groove. The dump truck is parked at the side of the trough, and the excavator arm and bucket can be removed by rotating 40 to 45. If the width of the ditch is twice the turning radius of the excavator, the dump truck can only be parked on the side of the excavator, and the boom and bucket should rotate 90 degrees before unloading. If the trench used for excavation is wider, it can be excavated in sections. When the excavation reaches the end, the excavation head excavates the adjacent part. The excavation width of each excavation section should not be too large. The principle that the dump truck can run on one side of the tank can reduce the work cycle time and improve work efficiency.
2. Ditch mining
Unlike the excavation at the trench end, the dump truck stops at the end of the trench, the excavator stops at the side of the trench, and the boom and bucket rotate less than 90 degrees to discharge. The ditch side excavation cycle is short and the efficiency is high, but the excavator always runs along the ditch side and the excavation slope is large.
3. Direct mining
When the width of the trench is the same as the width of the bucket, the excavator can be placed on the centerline of the trench and extend straight from the front. After digging to the required depth, the excavator retracts until the full length of the digging is reached. In this way, when digging a shallow trench, the excavator moves faster, and vice versa, but it can dig to the bottom of the trench to meet the requirements.
4. Curve mining
When excavating curved grooves, short-term excavation can be used and continuous connection. In order to make the contour of the trench have a smooth curve, the centerline of the excavator needs to be slightly deflected outward while the excavator slowly moves backward.
5. Maintain a certain mining angle
When laying pipelines, trenches are usually dug by mining methods that maintain a certain angle. In most cases, the excavator forms a certain angle with the straight groove, and the bend is small.
6. Excavation of ultra-deep trenches
When large-area and large-depth trenches need to be excavated, layered mining or combined front and backhoe operations can be used. Look, even small excavators need skills to dig trenches. Unfamiliar things must not be underestimated.
